Specialist Crafts air drying clay (similar to Newclay) contains a small amount of nylon fibres to give it strength if the clay is to be air dried but it can also withstand kiln firing.
Stoneware Clay can be kiln fired from 1120-1280°C and is suitable for stoneware glazes only.
