The coding journey

Moxy the Mouse.png

As the first animal in the range, Moxy is paired with a user friendly remote controller with just one button.

A simple press and hold of the go button propels Moxy forward, while releasing and repeating the action executes turns.

These simple controls make Moxy the perfect first step into coding, teaching the child cause and effect.

As the second animal in the range, Bo is paired with a slightly more advanced controller.

Bo's controller has two buttons, a simple press and hold of the forwards button propels Bo forward, release this button and press and hold the turn button to execute turns.

These simple controls make Bo the perfect step up from Moxy the Mouse and supports the child in their introduction to coding and cause and effect.

As the third and final animal in the range, Fifi is paired with the most advanced controller in the range, however it is still user friendly and simple to use.

Fifi’s controller has four buttons, 'forwards’, 'backwards’, 'left' and 'right'. Press and hold these buttons to propel Fifi in that direction.

These added controls make Fifi the perfect step up from Bo the Badger, further supporting children in their introduction to coding and cause and effect.

Designed by Computing specialists, EaRL v2 is the perfect programming resource to support children in developing their coding success through to KS2.

Our EaRL v2 Coding Robot takes the shape of a little, green alien, complete with a transparent shell to reveal his inner mechanics.

He also comes with a detachable tongue pointer and 9 different function buttons, so your children can predict and program his movements with ease.

Alternatively, you can program EaRL v2 remotely via a USB from a computer using Scratch 3.0!
