The EaRL AR Bundle offers an engaging way for primary pupils to develop coding and computational thinking skills through hands-on exploration and augmented reality. Designed for KS1 and KS2, this bundle supports the computing curriculum and encourages collaborative learning as pupils programme EaRL robots to complete interactive challenges on themed mats.

EaRL provides a hands-on coding and programming experience for students, allowing them to apply these computing concepts practically and engagingly. By programming EaRL to navigate environments, solve challenges, and interact with different elements of the AR mat, students can develop their understanding of algorithms, sequencing, and debugging. They also gain experience using logical reasoning to predict and control the robot’s behaviour. This can achieve cross-curricular objectives beyond computing, relating to Maths regarding Place Value and Coordinates and English with instructional writing.

  • Includes 6 EaRL v2 robots, 1 docking station, AR Treasure Island mat, and AR Town mat

  • Each mat measures 1.5m x 1.5m with a tough, wipe-clean surface

  • Suitable for group or independent use in classroom settings
