Product Description
BEK Single cell holder with 4mm sockets, ingeniously moulded so that a cell can only be inserted the correct way around.
- Accepts 1 x Zinc Carbon D cell (not included, available to purchase separately - B8R05412).
A BEK 4-Cell Holder is also available (B8R01324).
- The Unilab BEK (Basic Electricity Kit) range is our long-standing own developed range of circuit equipment which encompasses a whole range of Electric Circuit Components.
- Key Stage 3 Physics – Electricity and Electromagnetism: Electric current, measured in amperes, in circuits, series and parallel circuits, currents add where branches meet and current as flow of charge. Potential difference, measured in volts, battery and bulb ratings; resistance, measured in ohms, as the ratio of potential difference (p.d.) to current. Differences in resistance between conducting and insulating components (quantitative).
- Key Stage 3 Physics – Energy: Other processes that involve energy transfer: changing motion, dropping an object, completing an electrical circuit, stretching a spring, metabolism of food, burning fuels.
- Key Stage 4 Physics – Electricity: Drawing circuit diagrams; exploring equivalent resistance for resistors in series. Quantity of charge flowing as the product of current and time. Exploring current, resistance and voltage relationships for different circuit elements; including their graphical representations. Measuring resistance using p.d. and current measurements. Power transfer related to p.d. and current, or current and resistance.
- Accepts 1 x Zinc Carbon Cell (D Size)
- The BEK Tiles are easily connectible using standard laboratory 4mm Stackable Plug Leads
