Designed to work with the Philip Harris Dissectible Transformer (B8H26564).
Comprises of:
- A solid eddy plate
- A slotted eddy plate
- Aluminium disc
- Two pole pieces
- A vertical rod support
- Suspension poles and bars
- Key Stage 4 Physics: Electricity: Power transfer related to p.d. and current, or current and resistance
- Key Stage 4 Physics: Energy: Energy changes in a system involving heating, doing work using forces, or doing work using an electric current: calculating the stored energies and energy changes involved.
- Key Stage 4 Physics: Magnetism and Electromagnetism: Magnetic effects of currents, how transformers enhance the effect.
