Water resistant, accurate and portable, this handy little pocket meter is a 'go anywhere' pH tester, with a replaceable electrode. Also designed to float if accidentally dropped into water. Dual LCD showing pH and temperature readings simultaneously. The exposed temperature sensor provides fast response time. For convenience the pH readings can be held on the LCD using the HOLD button and the meter will automatically switch itself off to preserve battery life. Calibration is automatic (1 or 2 points) using push buttons with a choice of five buffer values. The pH electrode has a protective cap and a non-clogging fibre reference junction for long life. It can be easily replaced by the user by simply plugging in a new one.

Storing your electrodes correctly is a vital part of maintenance, preventing contamination and ensuring accurate measurements when testing pH.
Why not use water?
Deionised or distilled water shortens the lifespan of your electrodes. Plain water causes the salt contained in the reference cell to diffuse out - leading to slower response times when testing.
Storage solution is specifically formulated to maintain the concentration of salt required for the reference cell, while preventing your electrode from drying out.
Use storage solution consistently for electrode longevity.
