Writing Prompts is a high-interest, 3-box series that provides supplementary materials to support the classroom writing programme. Each box contains 200 writing cards, divided into 3 categories:

  • Imaginative - Narrative, Poetry
  • Informative - Procedure, Recount, Report, Narrative
  • Persuasive - Exposition

  • Acquire knowledge of linguistic conventions for writing.
  • Adapt language and style for a range of contexts, purposes, and audiences.
  • Develop awareness of audience, purpose, and context. Consolidate writing skills, vocabulary, and grasp of sentence structure.
  • Increase range of writing and variation of use of grammar, vocabulary, and narrative structures.
  • Teach enhancement of pupils' writing and competence.
