Product Description

Write Minds provides an imaginative way of encouraging children to write for a variety of purposes. Six central characters and their associated jobs provide the spring board for over 150 different writing tasks. Each character has a particular situation or predicament that will stimulate the children’s writing. For example, Mr C Lyon the safari park ranger has just discovered that the park’s prize python has escaped. The subsequent events impact on the other characters and provide many opportunities for both discussion and writing.

There are also plenty of opportunities built into the tasks for speaking and listening. The children will be able to engage in individual, group or class debates as well as taking part in role plays and dramatic scenarios.

There are also six reading passages with associated comprehension exercises, linked to the characters and their specific predicaments.
